The Funding Site Online Directory currently provides Authorised Subscribers with access to contact information on more than 1,500 South Africa companies[remove other], trusts and foundations as well as more than 260 international trusts and foundations funding work in South Africa[remove other]. The Site is updated with new grantmaker and donor entries on a bi-annually basis. The most recent updated was finalised in November / December 2009.
The database is made available to non profit, community based organisations on an annual subscription basis. Subscription fees are R750 for non profit organisations Non-Profit Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO); Community Based Organisations (CBO); Faith Based Organisations (FBO); Section 21 Companies; Trusts registered with Master of the Supreme Court and/or any other Voluntary Association that is formally constituted and not-for-profit. Proof of Non Profit status may be requested.
Subscription fees for independent freelance fundraisers and/or fundraising consultants and other applicants are R1,000 per annum.
Organisations that are registered and current in their content on the GreaterGood South Africa Trust website pay only R500 per annum for a subscription.

In all instances and unless otherwise stated or requested, an organisation’s subscription is a single user subscription only. Multi-user subscriptions would apply to organisations that have any number of branches that also require access, and such subscriptions would give authorised access to the Donor Database to each branch. Multi-user rates are very reasonable. Please advise how many user offices require access to the Site and we will provide you with a quote.
Please note the Terms and Conditions governing subscriptions as laid out in the Subscriber Agreement on www.thefundingsite.co.za. Specifically, note that upon your acceptance as a Subscriber, you are granted a non-exclusive license to use the Service to perform searches of the Database for your own organisational/personal use and benefit only and you may not sell or distribute the information, or any part thereof to any related or affiliated organisations, OR TO ANY THIRD PARTY. No subscriber shall be entitled to sell, distribute or commercially exploit the Subscription service or Database nor shall any Subscriber be entitled to create any derivative work using the Database.
Once confirmation of subscription registration has been received, a subscription invoice will be sent to the e-mail address provided on your registration form. Once your payment has been cleared, a subsequent e-mail will be sent to you confirming your successful registration, the activation of your account, and your Subscription start date. Note: If you have not received e-mail confirmations during the Subscription process, please notify us by sending an e-mail to info@thefundingsite.co.za.
Annual subscription fees are payable in advance of registration and must currently be paid by cheque or direct deposit into the Site's bank account whose details are below. Please be sure to reference the invoice number sent to you on the Funding Site invoice.
